Now that the cold weather is upon us, please remember to take your boots and shoes off and leave them on the rack at the base of the stairs. Our school is covered in carpet, and the longer we can preserve the life of the carpet the better. This includes taking your shoes and boots off even if it is not wet out to avoid tracking salt that can also cause damage to the carpet. You're welcome to bring slippers and wear them upstairs. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Just a few more short weeks to go until Christmas! Just a reminder that we will be closed for the holidays from December 25th to January 6th, during which time there won't be any lessons scheduled. We will still be available via e-mail or phone if you need to reach us, except for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
We're also very close to the recital. The recital will be on Saturday, December 9th at 4:00pm and 6:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 615 Baseline Rd. E. If you would still like to participate in the recital but have not yet signed up, this is your last chance to sign up. Currently only the 4:00pm recital has available space remaining. Everyone who has signed up will receive a confirmation e-mail before the programs are made. If you have signed up but do not receive a confirmation e-mail by Thursday, contact us immediately.
Finally, one of our teachers has requested that we collect coats, blankets, etc. for a coat drive being done by her other job. If you are willing and able, please bring any extra coats, gloves, hats, blankets you might be willing to donate to the recital for those less fortunate.
"Music is the one incorporeal entrance into the higher world of knowledge which comprehends mankind but which mankind cannot comprehend."
