Coming up over the summer, we'll be doing our practice contest again. Every student is welcome to participate, and the rules are simple.
We know practicing is tough when it's so nice out, but progress is slow without practice. Every student that practices at least 15 minutes per day for at least 4 days in a week will get their name entered into a weekly draw for a $10.00 gift card/certificate to the store of the student's choosing. Your teacher will evaluate and approve or reject your name being added for the week.
With summer just around the corner, I just want to go over a couple of things regarding summer lessons and summer breaks. For those of you who plan to take the summer off, please let us know as soon as possible to avoid any potential confusion closer to the end of the month. Also, if you intend to take the summer off, just a reminder that we will do our best to find a spot for you when you return in the fall, but we cannot promise availability. We will be contacting everyone who takes a break in early August to start filling in the schedule again. The faster you can respond, the more likely we can find you a space.
For those of you who would like to continue with lessons over the summer but know of some days you will be away for vacations, again, please let us know as far in advance as possible so we can plan accordingly. We strongly encourage students to continue through the summer, but we know summer can be busy, and we'll do our best to be accomodating.
