We have recently welcomed two new teachers into our exceptional group of instructors. Both are now accepting new students and you will likely start seeing them around. If you have any friends or family thinking about signing up, now's the best time as their schedules are very open and flexible.
We have about a month to go before this year's winter recital. The recital will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 615 Baseline Rd. E as in previous years. Also, just as previous years, there will be two recital times, which will both be on December 9th. The times are 4:00pm and 6:00pm, and there are still spaces available to sign up.
As always, we strongly encourage students of all ages and skill level to participate. Performing is an essential part of music, and without it, you're missing out on learning a great skill. We know that you're nervous about being in front of so many people you don't know, but it is a completely supportive and understanding environment, full of other students who are learning just like you, or family and friends who will be impressed by what you can do. If you're still unsure about performing yourself, you're welcome to come and watch. Admission is free.
If you do plan to participate, please tell Steve which recital time you would like to be in and what song you will be playing. Please sign up before December 1st so we can make sure to have the programs ready in time.
"Proper planning & preparation prevents poor performance."
