To keep your flutes looking (and sounding) their brightest, remember to clean your instrument after every time you play it with a polishing cloth. My Dad said: 'You can't do both, son.'" | winter recitalThe date and time for the winter recital has been set for Saturday, December 8th at 5:00pm and also 7:00pm. Each recital will be approximately 1 hour long. It will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 615 Baseline Rd. E. Registration for the recital is now open and can be accessed online using the student portal. To find it, go to the Calendar tab and skip ahead until you find December 8th. Choose which recital you would like to register for by clicking on the desired time and following the instructions on-screen. There is a limit of 20 students per recital in order to keep the show short and fun for everyone, so please don't wait too long to sign up. Please note that no two performers will be performing the same song on the same instrument, so sign up early to make sure you get the song you want. There is no admission for the recital, so please feel free to invite family and friends. The chapel is small, but additional seating can be set up if necessary. costume weekIt's that time of year again. For one week at the end of October, our students have the opportunity to dress up and wear their Halloween costumes to their music lesson. Each student's picture will be taken and at the end of the week, the photos will be shown to all the teachers who will vote on their favorites. The top 3 winners will win $10.00 school credit and a Halloween Loot Bag. |
