RecitalBack to school means we're approaching another recital. This is your chance to show off how much you've learned, and how great you are! Don't worry about being nervous, we all are, and we're all very supportive. Every student is welcome and encouraged to perform, and it's a great learning opportunity. If you'd rather just check it out and get a sense of what a recital is, by all means, come and be a spectator! Start thinking about what song you'd like to perform and sign up! Upcoming Events
| Back to SchoolIt's hard to believe we're already into September, and kids are going back to school. In some cases, some of you are going back to music lessons, and with all the changes withe scheduling and new policies that we've done in the past few weeks, we hope that things haven't been too much of an inconvenience, and we are trying to minimize how noticeable and disruptive these changes are. We appreciate very much the understanding you have all shown us as we go through these changes. With our policy changes, we're particularly excited to try out our new Skype lesson option, and want to remind you that if you can't make it to the lesson for any reason, that this is an option we are trying out. Since this is a very new thing for us, we would appreciate any feedback about it, and we'll use that feedback to improve the feature as we go. One final comment. As kids get back to school and get back into their normal routine, please remember to find time for practicing each day. 15 minutes per day is recommended, but even just a few minutes or one or two quick run-throughs of one song can make a huge difference each lesson. That being said, even if you don't practice during the week, come to the lesson anyway, because you'll still make some progress, it'll just be a bit slower. Good luck to all our students for another year! |
